Baby Playgroup

Playgroup for babies aged 0-12 months held from 10am–12pm. This is a large group of predominately expat mothers who get together with their babies every week. Snow, ice and light festival on a "Cosmic Odyssey" theme, complete with spacecraft ice sculptures. International ice sculpture competition from 4th to 7th January. Winter garden for children with ice slides, mazes and rides.

Pre-historic ice and snow world created under the Ice Age movie theme, with snow mountains, 12 ice slides (from 1.2 to 5 metres high) and ice sculptures. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-20:00, weekends and holidays 11:00-21:00. Tickets (valid for whole day) cost: Mon-Fri 100R. children, 200R. adults; weekends and holidays 200R. children, 300R. adults; free for under 3s when accompanied by adult. Bi-Annual Honey Fair

Open 9am-8pm. Sample and purchase a wide variety of honey and honey products. Fair runs at the end of Maslenitsa, in time for this popular pancake festival, and events are also held at various parks and venues around town.
